Founder & Principal
Steve Skinner is a senior commercial and risk specialist with over 30 years’ experience across civil construction, utilities and infrastructure projects in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.
He advises contractors, principals and legal teams on contract strategy, risk management, dispute avoidance and expert witness matters.
With a background spanning engineering, project delivery and commercial management, Steve brings a practical, end-to-end understanding of how infrastructure projects are planned, procured, delivered and, when necessary, resolved.
His experience includes contract administration, risk modelling, forensic schedule analysis, dispute avoidance, alternative dispute resolution and appointments as an independent expert witness. Steve is known for a measured, analytical approach and for providing clear, well-reasoned advice that supports informed decision-making in high-value and technically complex environments.
He works across live project environments and formal dispute proceedings, where clarity, proportionality and technical rigour are essential.
